ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Jr. Blades completed the weekend home series with an Elite / Premier sweep on Sunday afternoon at Hertz Arena.
Elite finished off their weekend with another seven goal performance, five different goal scorers for the Jr. Blades pacing them to a 7-2 victory over Palm Beach. After falling behind 1-0 less than a minute into the game, Jr. Blades forward Bailey Kaiser scored his 10th goal of the season, a shorthanded goal, to tie the game up just before time expired in the first period. Rookie forward Thomas Filoramo, two goals and one assist, and recent signing Ryder Patten, four assists, had breakout games for the Jr. Blades who are now 10-8-0-0 on the season, good for third in the Florida Division.
