Florida Jr Blades Sign Jack Williams III For The 2020-21 season

ESTERO, FL - The Florida Jr Blades, proud members of the USPHL, are pleased to announce the signing of Jack Williams III for the 2020-21 season head coach Rob Weingartner announced today.

Williams III, 6'3, 160-pounds, will enter his first season with the Blades after playing for Jenison Wildcats in the Michigan High School Hockey League.

 "I wanted to play this year for the Florida Jr Blades to continue on after high school with the sport I love to play," said Williams III. "The Jr Blades organization gives me the opportunities to both grow as a player and a person."

Williams III, posted great numbers for a right handed defenseman over his 3 years at Jenison, averageing almost 1/2 a point a game, and scoring 10 goals and 20 assists in the 61 games he played.

“At 6’3” and 160 pounds and just 18, Jack has room to develop physically and mentally, I look forward to working with him,” commented coach Weingartner.
