JAKE LAIME
Jake comes to Florida after spending the past two years as Assistant Coach to the 2008-09 National Champion, Suffolk Juniors. During his 2 years with Suffolk, Jake focused on planning and conducting on-off ice practices, game day preparation and management, video analysis, and monitored all aspects of strength and conditioning.
He has successfully trained and scouted for several of the Nations top talent including the USHL, NAHL, and the EJHL. He has helped produce over 20 NCAA Div. I players, one Hobey Baker Finalist, two All-Americans, over eight professionals, and a countless amount of New England Prep School and AAA players. Jake is currently a level 4 USA Hockey certified coach.
Jake spent 2 years playing professionally in the United Hockey League with 3 different teams (Muskegon Fury, Flint Generals, and the Port Huron Flags). He also spent time in the SPHL with the Jacksonville Barracudas and the PeeDee Cyclones. After he decided to stop playing Jake found his passion to train and develop young athletes.
Jake took a job as the Director of Hockey Operations for “Total Hockey“ in Detroit. Shortly after, he found the desire to spread his experience and knowledge when he joined the BlueStreak Sports Training team and re-located to Hauppauge, NY as the Hockey Director.
Jake is a certified Athletic Republic Master trainer. In 2007, he co-founded “37Hockey“ an agency that strives to provide premium player representation for professional hockey players and coaches worldwide.
Today “37Hockey“ has successfully placed over 25 athletes ranging from the AHL to the SPHL including several leagues overseas. Jake is certified through the PHPA (Professional Hockey Players Association).
